Ankle Support
Just sprained my ankle. Suggestions for protective ankle support gear that's protective yet comfortable?
I just sprained my ankle last night jumping to block a spike. Any suggestions for ankle support that isn't too restrictive - but provides the support to ensure that I avoid these injuries in the future? Also - I'm female if that makes any difference in recommendations. TY!
The best ankle support out there is the AXIS or ASO ankle braces... they are great to help and prevent injury... I have worn them for about 10 years and they have saved my ankles MANY times...
do NOT buy "active ankles" they have a plate on each side and have two parallel Velcros... is you fall in these, you are liable to injure your knee or tibia.
the AXIS and ASO ankles lace up and figure8 around your ankle and have a stability band... it is much like taping your ankle and is MUCH safer...
