Seat Bath
Can I use a bath seat for my 4 month old?
All the ones I've seen say 6 months plus, but he is already sitting without support and I've seen a couple of 6 month old babies smaller than him!
Since he was born, I or my fiancé have just gone in the bath with him and held him, but it will be quicker and easier to just pop in him and out on his own! I know you can hold babies without getting in the bath, but it kills my back and I can't wash him properly that way. As he's sitting and leaning forward, he can't safely use the birth+ bath supports.
Will he be safe in a 6 month+ one? By the way, I'm not going to put him in and leave him unsupervised... just want something to hold him so I have hands free to wash him and wondered why they have that age as recommended from.

I would think its fine. Every child is different, 6 months + is a guide, and as you say the baby wont be left alone. So go for it. If it makes your life easier. I have one very similar and I find that if a pop a small hand towel between the baby and the seat at the back it takes up a bit of the room so they don't move around so much.
