The Aircast Airheel Support- Is It Right For You?
The Aircast Airheel support has been designed to help relieve the symptoms of Achilles tendonitis and Plantar fasciitis. If you have pain in your Achilles tendon (Achilles tendonitis) or pain in the bottom or your heel (plantar fasciitis), you may want to consider using an Aircast Airheel ankle support.
Achilles tendonitis causes constant pain in the back of your foot. It could cause your Achilles tendon to rupture. Walking can be made difficult. You may develop Achilles tendonitis from playing sports like basketball. If your exercise is too intense or too often, you could develop Achilles tendonitis.
Plantar fasciitis could be caused by problems with the arch of your foot (too flat or too high). It could also be caused by obesity, running, or problems with the Achilles tendon.
The Airheel support is made to help with pain from Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis. The brace can also help with heel spur pain. The Airheel support puts pressure on the foot. This pressure, also called compression, can help you reduce the swelling and discomfort you feel in your foot.
It can also help increase the circulation of the blood in your foot. The Aircast Airheel may make it easier for you to walk. This is because the Airheel can help to lessen your pain. You can put the Aircast Airheel on as easy as putting on a sock on. After you have put the brace on your foot, you can make the brace fit more comfortably by adjusting one strap.
The Airheel is made of neoprene, and it is very lightweight. This is a level II brace. This means that the brace offers more support and protection than a basic brace. The support is available in 3 sizes that will fit both the left and right feet.
The support was made to achieve the following goals: Decrease the use of anti-inflammatory medication, reduce swelling, decrease the pain from heel spur, reduce the symptoms of achilles pain, improve mobility and endurance.
